Did you know that Corona Labs offers a plugin for autocomplete in the Atom text editor? And did you know it’s easy to install and awesome?
In Atom, go to your Settings for the text editor. Mac users can click on Atom -> Preference and for PC users, I’m sure it’s similar. Surprisingly, I don’t own a PC right now. Once in your settings, go to Install and search for the word corona. You should get a result with the name autocomplete-corona. At the time of this writing, the current version is 1.1.4. Once you find, click install and you’re all set!
To start using autocomplete, start tying in a statement and you’ll see a dropdown with available commands. Select the appropriate command and hit enter. Depending on the command, you will jump to the first parameter in the command.
The best part of this plugin is that it’s being maintained by Corona Labs. The last update was August 24th and you can find the github page here – https://github.com/coronalabs/CoronaSDK-AtomPlugin.
